Blake's Party

Sunday was my nephew Blake's 7th Birthday.  He was offered different choices as to how he could spend the day and he chose a family birthday party.  How cute is that?  Blake is a sweet, smart, handsome, and loving little skater boy.  He is a wonderful blessing to all of us.
Here is the banner his mom ordered for him online.

The birthday boy

The fun started with pin the tail on the donkey.

Things got a little crazy when Jeff pinned the tail on his Grandma.

The kids were all roaring with laughter!

Still laughing!

Singing Happy Birthday.

Wonder what he wished for?

Ready for the gifts!

A little help from big sis.

Wonder what this one could be?

Seems like he likes it!

YES!

Sissy watching the fun with Aunt Nae.

Blake strumming his new guitar for Dad.

Pretty Sarah.

Happy Girl!

Fun with Daddy.

Jackie asked Nate to take this pic with her.

Such pretty girls!

Already a heartbreaker.

Fun Fishing Day...

Today was a reminder of why I love living in the mountains.  Two days ago it was gloomy and snowing and today it was sunny and beautiful.  It is amazing how quick the snow melts when the sun comes out in the spring.  We all loaded up and went to spend the day fishing at the lake.  It was soooo relaxing and fun.  Maybe not quite as relaxing for Michelle, as she was working Sissy.  As you can see in the pictures she had her literally strapped on all day.

Sissy was enjoying her ride.

The crowd was enjoying the lake.

Is everyone having fun yet?

Time for some new bait.

I love this picture of Greg getting to relax.

Jackie decided to start a journal with our fishing trip as Chapter 1.

I think this one looks like a postcard.
Still walking.......

Hoping for another bite.
There must be something in here that will work.
Getting her pole back from Papa after a fresh cast.

Better enter everything in the journal.

Hope this new bait works.
Sissy is a little tense while Mommy takes a break
At least Papa has some good jokes.
Finally a break!
This is mighty relaxing.

Break 's over.

Happy campers!
One last try........

A Snow Day

It's been overcast and kind of gloomy all day.  Every time I walk by a window and see the snow, I am oddly surprised.  I have just been in the mindset of spring and this is like a weird time warp.  There is no school today, so it seemed like a good chance to take some pictures.  The problem was that the snow is super wet and really dripping off of the trees.  I had to stand under the eaves of the house so that I didn't get soaked or ruin my precious camera.

Pretty happy about having a snow day at the end of April!

I love to see the ice on the trees.

I hope Michelle's flowers survive all of this weather!

She thinks that I can't see her.

Popping out to surprise me.

I love this one!  It is like the light of God is shining down on her.

Such a pretty face.

Maybe just a taste.......

HELLO!

So sweet.

Happy Girl!

Always making faces.

What does she see up there?

Soooo cold!

Precious hands.
