Saturday was Jackie's 8th Birthday Party. The theme was an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party. Michelle and I had spent a couple of weeks cleaning, baking, sewing, and decorating in preparation for the event. The little girls were dressed up in pretty dresses and donned hats and beads upon arrival. They had sooo much fun playing grownups. I love the contrast of the last two pictures! The party was just as much fun as we had all hoped it would be.

What fun! Oh how I loved those days with my girls!
ReplyDeleteThis is possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. I REALLY wish I had seen it in person. The dress came out just adorable Di. She looks just like her...The hats were adorable and the all the sweets and the way they were displayed were a stun. You got aome really cute pics too. Oh and the doll and the white rabbit sooo good, all of it was just a stun. Did I mention I how it cute it was? This was all such a good idea.....soo glad btw that you had that dress for Lindsey. I love that she can see that being a "little" girl is really lots of fun.

Great pics. I missed some of the decs even though I was there! Jackie was the most gracious hostess. I loved the way she introduced everyone as they arrived and made sure everyone was included in all of the activities. The dress was beyond a stun. Jack looks soooo pretty in the picture with her "8" figurine.
