Catching up!

I went thru a long spell during which I could not download any pics onto my computer.  I finally solved the problem and I now have almost 500 pictures added to my collection!  I have a lot of really cute pictures so I am going to do some posts to go with the best ones.   Here are a couple from last week,  Jackie was doing her Snow Dance.  (It is only done when the news comes from the school that it is a "Snow Day")

Since I have FINALLY gotten my pictures to download easily to the computer, I have taken a much bigger interest in figuring out the complexities of my camera.  I actually got out one of the instruction videos today and went thru the steps on how to take some trickier pics.  After much work here are some of my attempts.  Keep in mind I could have branched out more if I had been able to move beyond the ice skating rink on the deck.  I was afraid to venture out much further for fear of dropping the camera.....

Snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This storm has been huge up here with pounding rain, hail, thunder and lightening.  But nothing dents the amount of snowfall we have had!  Michelle and I have not left this house in going on six days!  We have had several power outages and are smothered in snow!  This was taken last night on the deck after almost two hours of shoveling!  It is gorgeous out today, so I will be able to get some beautiful pics later.
